Majorelle Garden is one of the most popular tourists places in Morocco that attracted nearly 1 million tourists every year.
I always heard my guests saying that we have to queue up for 45mins to 1 hour even we arrive at 10am! And the garden is full of people! We have to queue up again at every popular spot for taking photos! So any tips ?
10am is too late! Haha, the garden starts at around 8.30am and if you don’t want to be crowded with other tourists, better get there earlier! It will be even more crowded in the afternoon
buy ticket online! You can reserve up to 5 or 6 tickets for each time slot. It just costs 20dh each more as admin fee, but may save you one hour for queueing up especially during summer time when it is so hot!
get the ticker at the YSL musuem! Not all the tourists will visit also the YSL museum which is just next to the garden. Therefore, there is always no line there but you can get the tickets there also!!Anyway the museum is worth for a visit!!
if you are a keen photographer, then the best time to take photos in the garden is in the afternoon, as the sunlight settings is just perfect and it captures the most beautiful light!
anyway, we highly recommend you to buy the full set of tickets which include the berber museum in the garden, as well as the YSL museum. The berber museum features a rich history of berber culture while the YSL museum features Yves Saint Laurent’s designs and his life. It worths for the visit!
